PureSee™ IOL
Extended Range Cataract Lens
in Saginaw, MI

Illustration of intraocular lens (IOL) is a clear artificial lens that is implanted in the eye during cataract surgery, to replace an opaque natural lens.

Unlike traditional multifocal or trifocal lenses, the PureSee™ lens uses an extended depth-of-focus (EDOF) design rather than multiple focal rings. This allows light to be stretched smoothly across a range of vision instead of being split into distinct zones.

As a result, many patients experience:

  • Clear distance vision

  • Strong intermediate vision for computers, dashboards, and daily tasks

  • Fewer night vision disturbances compared to multifocal lenses

Why Patients Choose PureSee:

  • Smooth, continuous range of vision

  • Excellent computer and distance vision

  • Fewer halos and glare compared to multifocals

  • Great for patients who drive at night

  • Ideal for active lifestyles

Ideal Candidates:

PureSee may be right for you if you:

  • Want to reduce glasses for distance and intermediate (i.e. computer distance)

  • Want fewer visual symptoms at night

  • Prefer a more “natural” vision feel

  • Have early macular changes or dry eye that make multifocals less ideal

What to Expect:

You may still need glasses for small print, but most daily tasks can be done without glasses.
