The enVista Envy™ IOL is Bausch + Lomb’s newest Full Range of Vision lens implant, designed to provide clearer distance, computer, and functional near vision with minimal glare and halos. Envy uses ActivSync™ optic technology and ClearPath™ edge design to deliver smooth, high-quality vision across multiple distances while reducing common visual disturbances.

If you want better range of vision than a traditional monofocal — without the halo intensity of some multifocal lenses — the Envy lens may be an excellent option.

What Makes the enVista Envy™ Lens Unique?

  1. Full Range of Vision IOL (near, distance & intermediate):
    • With intermediate add power of +1.6D and near add power of +3.1D, Envy offers extended visual usefulness beyond a standard monofocal.
  2. ActivSync™ Optic Technology: This optical design delivers enhanced image quality and smooth transitions between visual ranges.
  3. Reduced Halos and Glare: Compared to traditional multifocal lenses, Envy aims to minimize night glare and halos.
  4. ClearPath™ Edge Design: Engineered to reduce internal reflections and improve clarity in variable lighting conditions.
  5. Excellent Option for Active Lifestyles: Ideal for patients who want reading/computer freedom but prefer a lower risk of nighttime symptoms.

Who Is a Good Candidate for the Envy Lens?

You may be a good candidate if you:

  • Want improved near & intermediate vision

  • Prefer fewer halos/glare than multifocal lenses

  • Spend significant time on computers or smartphones

  • Want more visual independence from glasses

  • Have healthy corneas and macula

  • Do not want a full multifocal/trifocal design

Patients with mild dry eye or early macular changes may also do well, depending on testing.

What to Expect After Surgery

  • Clear distance and intermediate vision within days

  • Functional near vision for daily tasks

  • Mild night symptoms early on that usually improve

  • Possible need for reading glasses for very small print

  • Stable, crisp quality similar to an enhanced monofocal with more range
