How is Cataract Surgery Performed?

Cataract surgery is safe, fast, and effective.

First, Dr. Mihlstin creates a tiny incision in the eye. Then, she removes the cloudy lens. Finally, she replaces it with a clear IOL that restores your vision.

The entire procedure usually takes 10 minutes per eye. Most patients go home the same day and notice improvement within 24–48 hours.
